The Indiana Pacers moved to 17-13 on the year after defeating the Brooklyn Nets on the road Sunday evening, 109-97.The win puts Indiana at 7-7 on the road and stops a two-game losing streak. The Pacers shot 57 percent from the field as five players scored in double figures. When the Pacers take the lead into the fourth quarter, they are 15-1 this season.
Victor Oladipo scored 26 points and grabbed seven rebounds.Oladipo has scored 20 or more points in 21 games this season. The other four players to score 10 or more points were Domantas Sabonis (17), Myles Turner (16), Cory Joseph (15) and Darren Collison (14).
The Pacers fly back to Indianapolis to host the Boston Celtics on Monday, in what will be the Celtics’ final stop in Indiana. Boston won its first matchup 108-98 against a Pacers team that did not feature Oladipo on Nov. 25.
Boston is currently the Eastern Conference leader sitting at 25-7. Kyrie Irving leads the Celtics with 24.2 points per game.
