The Indiana Pacers had 9.3 seconds to burn before defeating the East-leading Boston Celtics in comeback fashion. That was before Bojan Bogdanovic threw an errant pass which was intercepted by Terry Rozier and converted into a fast-break dunk.
What would have solidified a 19-point comeback ended in heartbreak.
Victor Oladipo once again came alive at the right time, scoring a game-high 38 for the Pacers. Boston guard Kyrie Irving had quite a night himself, scoring 30.
According to ESPN Stats and Info, NBA teams had gone 0-379 when trailing by 5 or more in the last 30 seconds of play.
The Pacers put five players into double figures and drop to 17-14 on the year. Boston improves to 26-7 and will face the Miami Heat on Wednesday. Next up for Indiana is a trip to Atlanta to face the Hawks Wednesday.
